Architecture Projects

Over the past five years, I studied and practiced architecture across Hong Kong, China, Denmark, Indonesia, and the UAE, approaching architecture as a lens through which to understand culture.

My projects begin with people — grounded in ethnographic observations of their daily routines, rituals, and climate. From these readings emerge precise responses to specific constraints: climate and topography frame spatial organization; the local typologies suggest patterns of use; materials are selected for their cultural resonance and ecological suitability. Aiming to minimize form while maximizing relevance — spaces that operate at the scale of human life, can be maintained and adapted over time, and tactfully extend local practices. This place-based methodology aligns with a critical regionalist stance, resisting generic solutions by allowing life, climate, and craft to shape design.
